The Maison Baguès is a French company, founded by Bagues ca. in 1840 Auvergne, France. In the early time, Bagues specialized in liturgical bronze and later on to bronze lighting. In 1920s, his sons Victor and Robert Baques took the company over and expanded the bronze lighting collection and created, designed their own iron models. Various well known artists and decorators of that time were their clients, including the French Artist Raymond Subes and the French furniture maker, designer Armand Albert Rateau. As if today, The Maison Baguès continues to serve many decorators, a synonym of elegance and excellent design.
